Michael Fassbender first gained notice as a television actor, appearing in such shows as Band of Brothers.  His big film break came in 2006 with a role in 300.  Being fluent in German, he was cast as a British spy behind enemy lines in Inglourious Basterds in 2009.   In 2011 he made the A-list, playing a variety of roles in a string of films.  From a sex addict to a super villain to period pieces, Fassbender has proven to have a wide acting range.
