Known as the Blonde Bombshell, Jean Harlow's star burned brightly in Hollywood during the 1930s, appearing in hit-after-hit. She was discovered by Howard Hughes, but achieved superstardom when her contract was sold to MGM where she often appeared opposite Clark Gable.
Harlow's personal life wasn't as successful as her professional one. She was married three times, twice divorced and once widowed. Her unexpected death from renal failure at just 26, was a true Hollywood tragedy.
