He's right, he doesn't know anything about the times or the struggle. For a guy named Patrick, he should. What he has to say is nonsense, and only shows the depth of his ignorance. Yes, the Black and Tan was as portrayed; with more than one Uncle Seamus or Sean being hauled off into the night; and no B&T is not an acceptable, clever and cute, name for a half-and-half. The movie works just fine in B/W. Cagney, the informed and right-thinking Irishman, is suberb.
