The visuals, sets and costumes are stunning. The story, however is predictable, sappy and slow. And this review is the kind I loathe, giving away plot point after plot point. I don't need that from a reviewer -anybody can ruin a film by telling you the story. 94% of critics liked it? I think it's a case of being scared to bad mouth Scorsese. No one is willing to say the king is half undressed.

Scott, I honestly don't think you gave too much of the plot away. You did a good job of setting up the story and introducing the characters is all.
