Eric, I agree completely about his mother letting her son wander all over New York, especially at the beginning when he's afraid to take the subway and walks to the other boroughs. That's insane.

I was reading an article yesterday that pointed out that three of the nominated acting roles this year are for characters that don't speak. Two in the Artist and Max Von Sydow's in this movie.
