Our original logo.Three Movie Buffs was born on June 2nd, 2000. It was the brain child of Eric, Patrick, and Scott Nash; three brothers with a love of movies who, not satisfied with pressing their opinions about movies onto their families and friends, wanted to share their opinions with the rest of the world. This website is the result.

None of the brothers work in the movie industry, none of them are film students, and none of them are professional critics. They are just three guys who love movies. They love watching movies, talking about movies, writing about movies, and the whole movie going experience. Oscar night is their SuperBowl Sunday.

The best way to judge a movie critic, to see if you should care about his or her opinion, is to get to know about that critic and see what other movies he or she enjoyed. If you find that you share similar tastes with a particular critic, then perhaps what that critic has to say about a movie will be relevant to you.

What follows is a little bit more about each of the brothers along with a list of each brother’s top ten favorite movies.
